Young Enterpriseâs missionâto empower young people to discover, develop, and celebrate their skills and potentialâwas vividly showcased as students competed and demonstrated innovative approaches to service excellence. In the 2018/19 academic year alone, the organisation, supported by teachers, volunteers, and a broad network of supporters, engaged over 482,000 young people, assisting them in developing essential business, financial, and entrepreneurial skills.
Furthermore, strides have been made to extend this crucial support to some of the most deprived communities in England and Wales, with more than 57% of secondary schools in the 30% most disadvantaged areas now benefitting from the programme.
